Captain Dane has been fishing Lake Ontario for over 25 years. With an always changing eco system in all of the Great Lakes, changing techniques must also be used to be successful. His techniques have been proven over and over based on two things:
- The number of fish boated.
- The repeat customer base that Get-a-way Fishing Charters has.
We expect our customers to ask questions, learn our techniques, and be an involved part of the fish catching team. The captain will do his best to teach you in one day things that have taken him over 25 years to perfect. This is what makes his customers happy and satisfied. The Captain is Red Cross Certified and CPR trained annually. He is licensed by the United States Coast Guard and is also a member of the Lake Ontario Charter Boat Association, National Association of Charter Boat Operators, and the Great Lakes Sport Fishing Council.
